Andreas Ludwig is behind ludbu.

After 25 years of experience as a carpenter, I am launching "Series 1", my first design collection with the name "driuwend driftwood" (west frisian), which means "floating driftwood". 4 prototypes were created. A table, a chair, a bench and a shelf. As a decorative object, a vase.

During the course of my professional experience I came into contact with all possible materials which are provided by market and environment. Combining these with each other, connecting, merging or letting them stand alone fascinates and inspires me.

That's where design begins for me.
