furniture

Series 1 with the name "driuwend driftwood" (west frisian), which means something like "floating driftwood". The idea here is to give untreated wood an appearance as if it had just been found on the beach, washed up by the sea. This wood can tell stories through its eventful life. To emphasize this, the silhoutte is apparently transparent. This gives the viewer the impression of seeing a floating piece of wood from some angle. The fascination of the furniture captivates through the floating effect as well as through the constantly changing structure and color of the surface in the interplay of the incident light.

Each piece of furniture is unique.
